The list of players positions and their responsibilities –
1-Goalkeeper–
The main aim of a goalkeeper is to stop the opponent team from scoring a goal.
The goal keeper is the only player who is allowed to play and hold the ball in his hand or arm. But he can do this only to the penalty area in front of his goal.
2-Defenders-
The defenders are positioned in front of the goalkeeper and their aim is to stop the opponent team from entering into their goal area. Central Defenders are positioned in the center of the field and are supposed to cover the leading goal scorer of the opponent’s team.
3-Outside-back-
They play on the left and right flanks and see that the ball doesn’t pass over them. They rarely move from their positions.
4-Midfielders-
Mildfieldres are the link between the defenders and attackers. Midfielders should be physically very strong and fit than other players of their team because they run maximum time of the game than other players. Their responsibility is to enter the opponent team’s area and see that they defend them when the opposing team retains the ball.
5-Center Forward(Striker)-
Forwards player’s main aim is to score goals or to create an easy situation for their teammates to score a goal.
6-Behind the Striker-
The most tactful, dangerous and strong player of the game. They are also called strikers. Behind the Strikers, main role in game are to support center forward and make the goal and also score the goal.
