Indian tennis player is going to Pakistan for the upcoming Davis Cup 2019, but they wants all the formalities of security to be completed before reaching Islamabad.

For the Davis Cup 2019, all tennis players will go to the Pakistan capital on September 14-15.

This is the first Pakistani visit of the Indian tennis team to the last 55 years.

A source associated with the players said, “We are not worried. We are available and excited for this fight but we want the assurance of security for all kinds of clearances from the Ministry of External Affairs, Home Ministry. “

It has been learned that Mahesh Bhupathi has written a letter to the All India Tennis Association (AITA). During the trip, the team has been asked about security.

No Indian Davis Cup team has visited Pakistan since March 1964.

India won 4-0 in the match held in Lahore.
The last match between the two teams was played 13 years ago at the Brabaughan Stadium in Mumbai, which India won 3-2.
