Narendra Modi was
born on 17 September, 1950 in Mehsana district of Vadnagar,Gujrat. whose family
belonged to the Ghar-Ghanchi-Teli sect, which falls in the backward
class of the Indian community. Narendra Modi was the third among 6
children of his parents. In his childhood, Narendra Modi used to help
sell tea with his father at the Vadnagar railway station, and after some
time he started running his own tea stall near the bus stand along with
his brother.

In childhood Narendra Modi’s dream was to join the Indian Army. Because
of which he wanted to enroll in a military school, but due to the
family’s hectic economic conditions, he was unable to join the military
school.
