Birth of Pele:

Pele was born on 23 October 1940 in Tres Coracoes, Brazil. Her father was Dondinho and mother Celeste Arantes. He is the first son of his parents. He also has a younger brother. His father Dondinho was also a football player. In fact, his nick name was Diko, but since his favorite football player “Vasco da Gama ‘Bile’, his friends started calling him” Pele “, pronouncing them wrong. Since then, he started being called Pelé.
